We hold as little as we can, we use it to price your pallets and get back to you, and we never sell it on.
Pallets On Demand Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 17396463, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We supply and collect wooden pallets across London and the South East, and we are responsible for the information on this page. To ask us anything about your details, email info@palletsondemand.biz or ring 07923 836370.
The quote form asks for your name, your company, your email address, your phone number, the postcode the pallets are going to or coming from, which kind of pallet you want, how many, and anything you want to tell us about the job.
The postcode is there because haulage is most of what a pallet costs — we cannot price a delivery or a collection without knowing how far it is going. The phone number is there because a yard is usually quicker to sort out in one call than in six emails.
We use all of it to quote and to arrange the work, and for nothing else. Asking us for a price does not put you on a mailing list.
We keep enquiries for about a year, so that when you come back to us we still have the last conversation, and then they go. Where we have actually supplied or collected pallets, we have to keep the invoice for six years because HMRC requires it. That is the one thing we cannot delete on request, and we will say so if it applies to you.
To bring pallets to you or take them away, we need the address and usually a name and a number for whoever is on site. Our driver has it for the day of the job. It stays with the paperwork for that job and we do not use it for anything else.
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that counts visits without cookies and without anything that identifies you. It tells us how many people looked at the site this week and which pages they read. It cannot tell us who they were, and that is exactly why we chose it. We set no cookies of our own, which is why this site does not stop you with a cookie banner.
The coverage section shows a Google map. That is loaded by Google as you view the page, so Google can see your internet address and may set its own cookies, in the same way it would if you had opened Google Maps yourself. Everything else on the page comes from our own server.
Our server keeps a short record of requests made to the site, including the internet address they came from, and a line for each enquiry sent through the form. We use it to spot someone trying to break in or to flood us with spam, and it is deleted when the site is next updated.
Appy Web Studio, who build and run this website for us, and the email service they use to deliver form enquiries to our inbox. Both only handle it to provide their service to us. Nobody buys this information from us and nobody is given it for marketing.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it — apart from the invoices above. You can also tell us to stop using it. Just email us; you do not need to explain why, and it costs nothing.
Tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
